NO CARE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Please avoid this place at all costs. One of the employees who has a PATCHY BEARD, is one of the utmost disrespectful and rude people I have ever met. He is unprofessional at his craft and is rude to those who don't know anything about cameras. I am SOOOO sorry not everybody knows the difference between film and scan. Me asking how to "have my photos sent to digital or email" should not prompt you to say "app WeLl So ItS SCAN. Like my bad man, I don't KNOW, so you should HELP ME, instead of being sarcastic and rude. I know you hate your job mr patchy beard, but please don't doe and the rest of you dreaded days spreading negativity to someone who is new to disposable cameras and stuff. You can be a lot NICER. Emphasize on NICER. I should have seriously waited on speaking to anyone else. I pray to god, new clients speaks to anyone else other than that dreaded man. I've worked on customer service majority of my life, and I can definitely tell something is wrong with. He hates his job and he's projecting his negative energy and customer service out to people. So u professional and rude. You guys to need to re-evaluate the people you have hired. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone because of that putrid man

Great service!

I went in a couple weeks ago in a rush to get an SD card for a film set I was working on and the guy who helped me out was very knowledgeable about the needs a requirements of the camera I was working with. He knew exactly what to ask me to give me exactly what I needed and I’m very appreciative! Will return for future needs!

Aweful customer service

By far the worst customer service in a while - requested passport photos and I have never seen more unfriendly or patronizing customer service. The person told me it would be an hour to get the photos (after taking the photo) didn’t tell me digital copy was extra, and when I picked up spoke rudely saying I didn’t ask for digital and it would be 17$ more. Further berated me for not asking and said he doesn’t make the rules. When I asked to see the manager, he said suit yourself. The manager proceeds to tell me he can’t do anything as there are labour laws! He was scared to talk to his own employee! How spineless. Apparently good Courtesy and customer care are in 2024 subject to labour laws! The person continued to smirk - what a terrible store with such entitled characters. They were doing me a favor by taking my passport photos! Highly avoidable store on Yonge Street and abysmal service. I guess some people truly hate their jobs and have lost any passion whatsoever for working and being at least pleasant.if there are negative stars, I would give those.

Very Friendly & Great Customer Service!

I have been purchasing my photography/videography types of equipment here for my small business for years now. I always contact Nim every time I have questions regarding certain equipment and he always provides me with his professional advice on what are the pros and cons of every gear that I want and he gives me selections of products that fit my needs for the job. He never gets tired of answering my questions. I previously got my Canon EOS R6ii, EOS R8, and Canon RF 50mm for the best deal in town! Eddie never fails to help out after deciding on the purchase of equipment. He always makes sure that you get the best deal and makes sure that they will be delivered to you safely. Thank you so much Aden Camera (Downtown Toronto Location) for always helping!

Tamron 35-150mm F2-2.8 Di III VXD Lens (Sony FE mount)

Just got back a couple weeks ago from San Diego, Oatman Az., Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas and a few places in between. I never faulted back to the Sony 28 - 70 kit lens for my Sony @ 7 III. I wish we could attach some of the pictures here, the sharp eye of a Pacific Western Gull, the Sea Lions and Children's Beach north of OB, the waves at the famous Ocean Beach, the sleepy surfers beach that is still living the 70's. Vista's of the Grand Canyon, Sunsets over the South Rim, and day and night pictures of Vegas! This lens just did not stop or give up, I beat and abused and pushed it beyond its limits and it gave nothing back but sharp, solid images! While a bit pricey at $2500, the images I attained with it leave me feeling filled with awe and wonder for the beauty this planet shows us! Never looked at any instructions, the lens is intuitive, performs beyond expectations! An amazing landscape lens with enough wide angle, enough telephoto length to replace several lens. Held for hours on end, while heavy, balanced and comfortable comfortable in my hand. Well worth the price, this is on the pro end of the line for Tamron, well done gentlemen! Randall Donaldson

Friendly, knowledgeable, professional....5 STARS !!

If you're reading reviews, then you're looking for something which will recommend using Aden's services / products. As with all the other five-star reviews, I found my experience at Aden's Yonge St. shop, far exceeded my expectations! I searched online for the Canon R6 and lenses I believed I required, and found a Damaged Box sale, called and spoke to John to see if they still had the item, they didn't, but as they hadn't taken the item off their web page, they offered me the R6 (undamaged box) at the same price, a savings of $300. Went to pick it up, Eden assisted me, as well as another staff who was working the floor, both provided input. I expected to feel like the newbie that I am, but happily, my experience was anything but, they spoke to me, not at me, and made sure that I understood the items I wanted. Eden went as far to ask me if I really needed the lens that I asked for, and assured me that I would be satisfied with alternative lenses, which would save me more than $1.5k. I was / am very-pleased with the alternative options; my thought was to purchase good equipment that would see me through the future of my imminent retirement in three years, not to break the bank. All future purchases of camera equipment will be done at Aden (Yonge). Due to the money Eden helped me save on my initial purchase, it'll allow me to acquire other items.....namely, the Canon RF 24-105mm lens! A huge thanks to Eden, John and the other guy (long blond hair), sorry I didn't get your name, you made my experience so pleasurable!! Heather Walker

Outstanding customer service

I have purchased cameras, gear and various accessories from Aden Camera (downtown Toronto) over the past few years and have been very satisfied with their excellent and prompt service each and every time. When I purchased a camera and tripod last year, Eddie was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure that everything arrived at my doorstep promptly. Most recently, I needed advice about flash and other accessories and gear. Jack and John provided excellent suggestions and service over the phone and in the store and helped me select the appropriate equipment. John was able to provide me with the gear that I needed on the spot at an excellent price. The customer service at Aden Camera is top notch and I would like to thank the staff for their continued exceptional customer service!!

Great Customer Service

We contacted Aden Camera when we found the camera we had been searching for on their website. They took our order over the phone and shipped it out the next day. The staff person was very helpful and knowledgeable about helpful . Thank you Aden Camera!

Fast shipping
